Well I was surprised in the lead up to Wings Over Illawarra 2011 to find out the WOI2011 team has used one of my images on their website – Red Beret landing!
So I had added incentive to travel over to Albion Park & check out the day and I got to admit I was pretty happy to make the trip.
A very well organised event with plenty of space to ensure the crowd are not feeling jammed in.
We had a great day checking out a large variety of aircraft – that was well supported by the RAAF, Temora Aviation Museum, private aircraft & of course the HARS aircraft. I must admit the Connie is still my one of my favourites!
